So, the final (Third) step to create a pre order is the Payment section :

Payment Options: #
- Full Payment
Charge customers the entire product price upfront at the time of preorder. - Partial Payment
Allow customers to pay a portion of the total price in advance. The remaining amount can be collected later, based on your store’s fulfillment policy. - Both Payment
You can also select both the option that is the full payment and partial payment.
Payment Option Display Style #
Select the style to display payment options:
- Inline
- blocklist
Select whether you want to display your payment option :
- Button
- Radio
Full Payment Label #
Customize the label for the Full Payment option.
For example:
Change “Full payment” to “Pay Now” or “100% Upfront” to better match your store
Partial Payment Label #
You can edit how you want to display the partial payment label (it’s editable).
Example: “Pay Deposit” or “Partial Upfront”
Show Partial Payment Note
You can display a helpful note under the partial payment label.
Default Note Example:Pay {payment} now and {remaining} will be charged on {date}
Customers Pay Now
Enter how much amount the customer should pay upfront.
Example: 30 (if you want to charge ₹30 now)
Collect Remaining Payment
Enter the number of days after preorder to collect the pending amount.
Example: 7 (remaining amount will be charged after 7 days)
Discount (under partial payment)
Select the discount that should apply when customers choose partial payment:
- Percent Off
- Fixed Amount Off
- None
Section 5: Discount Settings #
You can apply a discount to encourage preorders:
- Percent Off
Example: 10% off preorder items. - Fixed Amount Off
Example: ₹500 off the regular price. - None
No discount will be applied.
Final Step: #
Click the “Save & Publish Preorder” button.
Your preorder settings will now be applied to the selected product(s), and customers can start placing preorders based on the payment and discount configuration.
